Caged Poem by Charnen Postrano

Caged

Broken glasses and acids be planted
on ground.
Everytime I step everything spills blood.
In front is cell with thick steal bound.
I sat on ground with a heavy heart and mind clouded.

'It's your fault, ' the fairies whispered in blame.
With shaking hands I tried to get out of jail.
Cell was electrifying the hands of the prisoner.
Ne'er should I sit and cry with loud voices.

Dark place and worried heart. Shaking the actions of the weakened heart.
Stumbled on its own, thoughts mistook everything as sin.
Perfect in the eyes of itself but normal in others.
I drowned to death together with the fairies words.

I never wished to be a sinner in peoples' eyes.
Can I even swim upon drowning?
Can I even smile upon the heart shattering?
We make mistakes, but mine is worse that led me to die in chaos.
