She ran after love
Making dreams her sweet home
Time passed,
Yet no love,
Could she call her own,
So she spoke to the Sea
And she prayed to the Moon
Hoping that they
Her guides would be soon
But it came to pass,
That, hopelessly
Nor the light of the Moon
Nor the depth of the Sea
Could create a love
Where no love there'd be,
And alone, with no home
For her heart to be
Life left her to die
With an unfilled heart
At the shore of the Sea
While the Moon shed a tear,
And set her heart free
To look for Love,
In Eternity.
i love the poems you write i wrote one to my crush and now he is my boyfriend.😍😍😍😍💕💕💕💕❤❤♥♥♥
I love this poem through and through, such a thought-provoking poem at its smartest rendered, it contains a bit irony and that sets the poem on fire! All life´s ingredients are in this poem and see how powerful the poem has become. And my favourite subject is love, fantasy or not, it IS love, such an entertaining, but truly sad poem of great melancholy and sadness, indeed Sandra, this sad love so magnificently created, love your way of creating
For my dearest Sandra, I have added a new response, This poem is not A Love Fantasy but the truth. Marvelous!
Beautiful analysis and feeling for this poem which I appreciste very much. So glad you liked it. That's what poetry is for, to please all that do the poet the great favor and grace of reading what they write. Thanks a million, dear Sylvia! Much obliged!
